My academic journey is deeply rooted in understanding and mitigating coastal erosion and vulnerability. With a focused research background, I have explored the impact of artificial and natural barriers on coastal erosion during my undergraduate studies. My research extended to analyzing micro plastics and grain size distribution along Sri Lanka’s southern coast, highlighting my commitment to addressing complex environmental challenges. My passion lies in examining how different barrier structures individually influence coastal geomorphology and erosion processes, aiming to contribute to more effective coastal management and preservation strategies.
