About
My research focuses on coastal geomorphology and landscape-driver processes. I use field data and numerical models to explore the long-term evolution of shore platforms. I’m working on a numerical model to explain how waves carry energy from the deep ocean to the coast. With this model, I can estimate coastal erosion variability both alongshore and intertidally. I apply this model to the world’s driest area, the Atacama Desert coast.
