About
I am a Civil Engineer with more than 8 years of professional experience in engineering project management. I completed my MSc and Ph.D. degrees in Hydraulic and Coastal Management at the University of Granada. I have developed a useful and practical app that introduced a new spectral water index, with outstanding performance, to automatically detect the coastline from a bunch of Landsat Images. Now, I am working as a researcher in the Ecology and Coastal Management Department of ICMAN-CSIC. My research line is focused mainly on applying remote sensing techniques to improve morphodynamic knowledge of coastal areas.
