PhD Candidate at The University of Auckland. Currently working to improve the knowledge and predictability of coastal flooding from local to global scales through the use of machine learning models. MSc in Geography (2016) in the Coastal Oceanography and Marine Geology research line at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC, Florianópolis-SC/Brazil). BSc (Hons) in Oceanography (2012) at the University of Vale do Itajaí (UNIVALI, Itajai-SC/Brazil). Also Specialist in Project Management (MBA) at UNIVALI (2018). Main research interest in coastal processes, especially those related to wave climate and coastal flooding, using numerical modelling and machine learning.
