Valeria Fanti is a Civil and Environmental Engineer specialised in Physical Oceanography. She is currently working on coastal storm hazards on barrier islands at the Marine and Environmental Research Center (CIMA) of the University of Algarve (Portugal) and at the University of Stirling (Scotland).
She previously worked on wave modelling, wave energy converters and wave power assessment at the National Laboratory of Civil Engineering (LNEC) in Lison and at the Polytechnic University of Turin in the Department of Mechanical and Aereospace Engineering.
