About
My current research includes propagation modeling and analysis of atmospheric variables from COAMPS and blended numerical weather prediction data sets (such as wind speed, specific humidity, sea surface temperature, etc.) to better characterize how variations of atmospheric variables are associated with refractive effects known to impact radar wave propagation. We are currently working on a manuscript for publication of these results, and I plan to present some of my own work titled Exploring Relationships of Evaporation Duct Height with Wind Speed and Humidity in the upcoming American Meteorological Society conference (2023) in Denver, CO.
