About

I am currently working as an Engineering Tech at the New York Water Science Center, United States Geological Survey (USGS) on contract. My role at USGS involves conducting research to understand the impact of compound flooding rainfall, groundwater, and storm surge relationships using statistical approaches, as well as analyzing time series and geospatial/geophysical data.

In addition to my work at USGS, I hold a Master’s degree in historical data analysis and have experience in hindcasting the salinity of Delaware Bay to study its effects on oysters. I also did an internship at Natural Hazard Mission, USGS, Woods hole on predicting salinity of Delaware Bay using COAWST model (3 dimensional hydrodynamic model) and comparing it with empirical model.

Research Interests: My research interests span hydrology, oceanography, environmental science, environmental statistics, time series analysis, geospatial analysis, and multivariate analysis.

Technical Skills: I am proficient in utilizing quantitative data analysis software such as R, Python, and Matlab. I also have expertise in geospatial analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS) software, particularly ArcGIS. Additionally, I possess skills in science visualization to effectively communicate research findings.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any questions or if you’d like to collaborate on projects related to my areas of expertise.
