About
As a current Plymouth University master student, my principle research interests are focused upon climate-induced changes to sedimentary coastlines, and the methods that society useto manage these changes.Recent workhas been motivated by ‘sand-scaping’ practises in the Netherlands with interest in introducing similar projects at sites in the UK.I am familiar with the behavioural equilibrium shoreline model, ShoreFor, having yielded shoreline position forecasts for Perranporth, Cornwall. In order to further myfieldexpertise, I have supportedtheCoastal Process Research Group at Plymouth Universitywith monthly beach and dune surveys. At the desk I have advanced my knowledge of data analysis through attending optional workshops on MATLAB and ArcGIS, thusincreasing my competency and confidence with each suite. Myoutgoing personality has been developed through work experiences in the restaurant sector, which I have juggled around my university commitments, leaving me with respectable time management and personable qualities.I am a keen coast path runner and due to personal interests and past experiences abroad, I am able to speak conversational German and French.
