The principal consultant is Ms Misti Hood-Gelman, who has over 20 years’ experience in environmental engineering, coastal engineering, engineering and design management, environmental management and restoration, and coastal oceanography; including university teaching and research. Additionally Ms Hood-Gelman has international experience with environmental planning, assessments and design for major projects in Australia, Papua New Guinea, the Bahamas and the US Caribbean. She has experience in ecosystem-based adaptation through environmental planning and design for the restoration and creation of wetlands, sea grass beds and near shore reefs. She is broadly skilled in municipal infrastructure including water and wastewater treatment, roads, drainage and solid waste landfills.
