About
My research aims to link surface processes with climate signatures in the coastal zone and demonstrate that coastal sedimentary systems are reliable records of Holocene and Quaternary climate. I am interested in the effects of sea level change on sediment supply in carbonate systems, the transfer of marine-derived sediments into aeolian dune units, and the influence of environmental and climatic variability on dune morphology. I also work on storm hazards including dune and beach erosion and landward transport of sediment and water through overwash processes.
