Job Opportunity in coastal management: Central Coast – Hunter region NSW Australia
The NSW Office and Environment and Heritage is currently recruiting for a coastal management position in the Central Coast – Hunter Region.
The appointee will help councils in the Central Coast – Hunter region implement the government’s new coastal management framework. The new Coastal Management Act and the Manual requires that management strategies be under-pinned by a sound understanding of coastal processes. Accordingly, I am looking for someone with a sound understanding of physical and/or biological processes but also someone with the capacity to work closely with local councils and the community. At this level, I would expect a few years of post-graduate experience.
The job advertisement may be found at the following links. It closes on Sunday 7 May.
