Job Opportunity: Fixed Term Lecturing Position water engineering and management

The school of Civil and Environmental Engineering @UNSW Sydney is currently recruiting for a fixed term, 3-year (36 mo) lecturing/research position in the area of water engineering and management. It would be great to see some talented WICGE members consider this exciting opportunity and bring more women into engineering jobs.

The successful candidate will conduct independent research and deliver excellent teaching in the area of water engineering and management in collaboration with the Nuisance and Harmful Algae Science-Practice Partnership with Melbourne Water. The Nuisance and Harmful Algae Science-Practice Partnership is a multi-party initiative between the UNSW Global Water Institute, the University of Newcastle, the Walter Eliza and Hall Institute of Medical Research, Polytechnique Montréal and Melbourne Water, seeking to more effectively manage these blooms by introducing smart surveillance and evidence-based, cost-effective policy and asset design for the benefit of the Melbourne region.
