Coastal Risks MOOC

The Université de Bretagne Occidentale (France) and the Université du Québec à Rimouski (Canada) offer a first free and online international training on Littoral communities in front of coastal risks. This massive open online course (MOOC) targets a wide audience since no prerequisites are required. Anyone interested in the question of coastal natural risks can register by May 23 (http://platform.europeanmoocs.eu/course_flotrisco_litoral_communities_ for English speakers https://www.fun-mooc.fr/courses/UBO / 63001S02 / session02 / for French speakers). The course, taught in French but translated into English, and does not lead to college credit.

 

Various topics will be discussed during the 7 weeks of training (from 9 May to 25 June 2016), including erosion and coastal flooding hazards, vulnerability of coastal zones or coastal risk and emergency management by various university teachers and stakeholders.
