About
I am finalising my PhD at the Department of Physical Geography at Utrecht University. During my PhD, I looked at how mud (fine/cohesive sediment) influences the morphology and sedimentology of estuaries. I did this by numerical modelling and physical experiments in the Metronome, which is a new flume facility for tidal systems. Although estuaries and mud is my specialisation, my research interests are broad and am interested in all fluvial and coastal morphology. I am currently looking for a postdoc position.
