About
Since July 2014, I have been working on a project funded by Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) for Contamination Assessment and Remediation of the Environment (CRC-CARE). During this period, I have gained experience in groundwater flow and transport modelling, MODFLOW and MT3DMS (within GMS7), respectively. My research and applied research techniques have enabled me to work and learn autonomously as well as supporting team members. Some of my responsibilities and achievements during this period are listed below:
Responsibilities:
• Modelling various contaminated aquifer sites to identify unknown groundwater contaminant sources;
• Preparing and presenting different reports of characterization of unknown groundwater contaminant sources; and
• Hydrology teaching assistant.
Achievements:
• Developing an efficient and easy implementable methodology for characterization of unknown groundwater contaminant sources.
• Developing an efficient monitoring network design approach.
