I am an ecologist and I love field work. I am studying the biological mechanisms underpinning plant mediated recolonization and recovery of coastal dunes post-storm. Specifically, I am studying the shifting extents of blowout created by Superstorm Sandy 2012 and the recolonization of plants into these areas.
