About

Pamela is a coastal engineer specialising in numerical modelling, coastal design and coastal zone economics. She has undertaken statistical extreme analysis, economic assessments and detailed wave and coastal modelling to support the design of new coastal structures, including breakwaters, revetments, seawalls and beach nourishment projects. This includes the use of the Delft3D suite, including SWAN wave modelling. Recent project have included estimating extreme wave conditions, wave modelling and rock groyne design for the Sunshine Coast Council, the cost-benefit assessment of new swimming enclosures with the Redland City Council, and detailed wave overtopping assessments in the Channel Islands (UK).
