Fully funded PhD Position at the University of Nottingham in wave-flexible-structure interaction

Applications are invited for a fully funded PhD studentship in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Nottingham, UK. The successful candidate will conduct numerical and physical modelling research into wave-flexible-structure interaction. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and hard-working with an excellent degree in engineering, mathematics, physics orrelated disciplines. Experience in numerical modelling and good programming skills are essential. Good knowledge in at least one of fluid mechanics, wave mechanics and/or structural dynamics is also required.

 The studentship will cover PhD tuition fees and a tax free stipend for three years for UK/EU students only due to funding restrictions. The studentship is expected to start on the 1st of October 2016.
