About

I am the field and data manager for a group studying shoreline evolution. The group’s goal is to produce models that can predict future shoreline change under various climate change and sea level rise scenarios. To support that goal, we operate a long-term monitoring program that surveys beaches and adjacent nearshore bathymetry at a number of sites; data from those sites are used to calibrate and validate models.
