The 2017 Macquarie University Research Fellowships (MQRF) Scheme is now open for Expressions of Interest.  Details, including Funding Rules and Expression of Interest form can be found at MQRF 2017 – Expressions of Interest .

 The purpose of MQRF is to support researchers within three years of the award of their PhD who have an outstanding track record (relative to opportunity) and/or who show evidence of excellent research potential.  The Scheme provides an incubation period for early career researchers to allow them to increase their competitive edge in securing research funding from non-University sources.  In addition, the Scheme aims to enhance the research capabilities of existing and emerging areas of research strength at Macquarie University.

The Scheme is highly competitive hence we would strongly encourage you to discuss your decision to apply with your Sponsor or the Faculty Research Office at the earliest possible stage.

Submission Process and Timeline:

 ·         Faculty of Science and Engineering deadline for submission of Expressions of Interest – Wednesday, 11 May 2016. Please email your complete draft EoI to Faculty Research Office at sci.research@mq.edu.au for review and feedback.

 ·         University closing date for submission of Expressions of Interest – Wednesday 25 May 2016. Please email your EoI to research.preaward@mq.edu.au  .
